The Hinterview Chrome Extension project aimed to enhance the recruitment process with an integrated tool for recruiters, streamlining the workflow so they can seamlessly capture and share candidate video interviews directly from the browser. Usability review
Designing 'Record a Hintro' from the ground up meant getting the fundamentals right: video capture and sharing integrated directly into the browser (avoiding the inefficiency of multiple tabs), a clear and accessible extension that recruiters could navigate with ease, and strategic placement of key actions to minimise clicks.

Mapped the existing experience, then redesigned the flow around the idea that best fit business and user goals.
Design
The final UI features a prominent, intuitive interface for capturing and sharing video interviews, an efficient workflow, and positive feedback that reinforces engagement. Consistent visual design and tone of voice align with Hinterview's branding.
The final UI was user tested; feedback showed a significant improvement in satisfaction and productivity, with recruiters saving an average of 30 seconds per video recorded.
