Product designer × AI-assisted front-end × 13 years

I design products.
Then I build them.

Thirteen years turning complex problems into clear, usable products — and now shipping the production front-end too (with a little help from Claude). One person, both halves, no handoff.

I started my career in graphic design at Shillington, building a strong foundation in visual communication and core design principles. I later transitioned into product design through Memorisely, where I developed my approach to user-centred design, from problem definition through to prototyping and delivery.

Over the past thirteen years, I've designed and shipped products across B2B and consumer spaces, with a recent focus on SaaS platforms. I work closely with engineering and product teams to take ideas from early concept through to production, balancing speed, clarity, and attention to detail.

Today the role spans design and build. At Kato, I design and ship production front-end using AI-assisted development (Claude, Cursor), with our design system as the source of truth: everything from small tweaks and components through to full features. I've also rolled that capability out to the wider team, building Claude workflows that let anyone in product prompt high-fidelity, on-brand prototypes.
