Improved user control with the introduction of a dashboard

The VenueScanner Dashboard project aimed to revolutionise the venue management experience for hosts by providing a comprehensive, user-friendly platform. The goal was to streamline the management process, making it easier for hosts to oversee their bookings, communicate with clients, and manage their enquiries efficiently.

Usability-first, from the ground up

As a brand-new feature replacing the previous messaging platform, the primary focus was designing an intuitive, efficient experience from scratch. CTAs were strategically placed to avoid confusion, and the interface was optimised to reduce the number of clicks required for task completion. Consistent visual design and a clear tone of voice aligned with VenueScanner's branding.

Wireframes & validation

Wireframes visualised the new dashboard with a focus on simplicity and ease of use for the MVP. With no formal user testing available, the design was validated through internal reviews and stakeholder feedback, which confirmed the approach effectively addressed hosts' needs and set a solid foundation for post-launch iteration.

Final design

An intuitive dashboard for managing enquiries, communicating with venues, and overseeing event details. Key actions are prominently displayed, and the user flow is optimised for efficiency.
